Winds
If I was a boy
I would build that castle again
Straight to the skies
To ride the winds
If I had a choice
I would bury my head in the sand
Dressed up in ocean spray
Until I’m washed in gentle hands
Calloused I am
If I owned a sail
I would tie it to the mast of a ship
Carve my family name
Like grandfathers did
If I lost touch with land
I would gather all that I had
The people I’ve loved
That’s all I am
Forfeit my plans
Follow me, back to our home
Plant the seeds, reap the harvest we grow
